Understanding the Protein Food Group (Food Models)

Foods in the protein group include poultry, fish, eggs, nuts, seeds and meat. These foods play an important role providing protein and other nutrients for your health.

From serving sizes and nutrients per serving, National Dairy Council can help explain the protein food group with our online food models.
